What’s to Expect in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018?
Recently, there has been much talk about Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018. With Microsoft’s newly released version of Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016 R2, we waited for the developments on this latest installment, Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018. This new version has an expected release date on December 1, 2017.
New improvements upon the previously installed features include:
- Workflow 3.0 upgraded to Workflow 4.0
- Will add features such as email reminders and reporting.
- Doc Attach
- Will now expand to support receivables, GL entries and employee inquiries.
- Finance Optimization
- Human Resources Optimization
- Power Suite
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 Systems Requirements
Microsoft intends to provide future road map visibility by keeping us consistently provided with a look ahead 12-18 months in advance of its next product release. Additionally, Microsoft does offer a minimum of five years of mainstream support.
GP “Next,” is the rumored version to come after GP 2018, however no explicit details have been released so far.
